McKinney North operates on a 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. schedule, which includes seven class periods and a thirty minute lunch period. Students may not leave campus during this time as an MISD high school campus policy.

Our administrators and faculty work hard to provide our diverse student body with a broad variety of learning opportunities and extracurricular experiences. We are proud to offer students over 50 Pre-AP, AP and dual credit courses, several career and technology certificate programs, a Project Lead the Way engineering course of study, six stellar UIL fine arts programs, and 22 competitive UIL athletic teams.
